La première réunion d’organisation d’ACORN à Montréal Nord a eu lieu hier. Près d’une 10 aine de personnes se sont connectées pour planifier nos prochaines actions à Montréal Nord. Ne vous laissez pas distraire par la bonne humeur de ACORN ! La communauté Nord-Montréalaise est fermement décidée à changer les choses.
Les problèmes évoqués embrassaient l’insalubrité et l’augmentation abusive des loyers. Des actions concrètes ont été programmées pour le mois de Mai dans le cadre de notre campagne Montréal Sain et Abordable. Une autre communauté vient de prendre le pouvoir. Vous aussi, rejoignez-nous avec votre quartier pour porter notre campagne à la ville pour des logements sains et abordables dans tout Montréal.

The first ACORN organizing meeting in Montreal North took place yesterday. Nearly 10 people logged in to plan our next actions in Montreal North. Don’t let ACORN’s good humor distract you! The North Montreal community is firmly determined to change things.
The issues mentioned included healthy homes and excessive rent increases. Concrete actions have been planned for the month of May as part of our Healthy and Affordable Montreal campaign. Another community has just taken power. You can too – join us with your neighborhood to bring our campaign to the city for healthy and affordable housing throughout Montreal.
